Another Great read....

Be Your Own Hero And Save Yourself

Life is a journey that will bring many challenges. No doubt we’ve all noticed the inevitable trend of events that will bring joy and those that will yield sorrow. It’s the cycle of life!

How we chose to live and respond to our circumstances will determine our experiences.

Sometimes, we don’t feel equipped with the right tools to combat our problems. Without the right support and guidance, we can easily slip into periods of depression, bitterness and self-pity.

If we don’t know how to recover from unfortunate situations, we can slip into the spiral web of hopelessness and get stuck! This is where spiritual health is important.

Spirituality is the inner force that gives life to the physical body. When there is no spirit, the body dies. Become your own hero and save yourself. Invest the time and energy in developing your spirituality. Many people are led by the Holy Spirit, so an example would be to seek empowerment through Jesus Christ. It is an opportunity and gift of salvation.

"The Lord is my light and my salvation- whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life – of whom shall I be afraid?...though war break out against me, even then will I be confident." Psalm 27: 1-3

Everyone needs a foundation of spirituality to drive their inner energies. Find yours, be your own hero and save yourself!

AWESOME! :)

Denise wrote in her journal the other days, these words:

Strengthen yourselves so that you will live here on earth doing what God wants. 1 Peter 4:2 (NCV)

"Strengthen yourselves in mind, body and spirit. Don't overlook one, while you overwork another. Find the balance and experience life in a way that you've long forgotten. It's never too late. You're never to young or too old."

This really touched my heart. I think sometimes we get all fired up and totally consumed with our "outer" bodies that we forget about our spiritial bodies....

Thanks for the reminder! :)
