Blog written by Blake Bradley

My good friend Blake wrote this blog today and I loved it so much that I asked him if I could post it here on my blog.

Enjoy!

“The Warrior”

The LORD is a warrior; the LORD is his name
Exodus 15:3

By definition, a warrior is:

A person who shows or has shown great vigor, courage or aggressiveness.

Are you a warrior for Christ? The greater question is; are you striving to be?
Our world is filled with so many pitfalls and daily challenges. Being a warrior is not always an easy task. I don’t write you today claiming to have all the answers. In fact, I am a work in progress. One of my life’s mottos is that I am “permanently under construction”. A soon as one road is refinished, I tear up another one!
We are all human indeed but we can truly make a difference in this world if we will allow God to work through us.

When the angel of the Lord appeared to Gideon, he said, “The LORD is with you, mighty warrior.” Judges 6:12

In today’s society an unseen line has been drawn in the sand and it has come down to:
“Are you with God or not”? We can no longer ride the fence and procrastinate about what we should be doing. We should seize this moment right now and become warriors for Christ!

You alone can make a difference in the lives of your family, friends and in your communities. Many people are wandering through this world right now searching for life’s answers, just waiting for someone to show them how to fill that big empty void in their lives….Let’s tell them about Gods love and his promises. Don’t worry if you feel that you are not articulate enough or gifted through words, God will handle all of the details. Just put yourself out there and God will surely use you as a vessel.

The Lord is a warrior; the Lord is his name

Exodus 15:3

It’s time to catch fire for God ladies and gentlemen. Let’s be the Warriors that God has intended us to be.

Stay strong in Christ!

American Gladiators

I'm not sure what night this played, but I was in tears. OH MY HECK...there are SO many people in the world who we can gain inspiration from DAILY. From Jonnae Taylor to this man. This man is simply AMAZING. I'm not kidding ...I wish I could hug him and tell him how much he inspired me the other night. I complain about doing a little workout at home. BLAH...makes me feel so ashamed.

I think a HUGE key to our success is to read stories about people who through adversity reach new heights. They are ALL around us.....

Here are a few pics of him.

60 years of marriage....

WOW.WOW.WOW...my Grandpa and Grandma celebrated 60 years of marriage this past saturday. What an accomplishment. :) I hope to share pics of them later. They are both 80 and you would never guess it. The most amazing couple..I love them more than words can express.

Mother's Day was good. Tom and the kids gave me a massage gift certificate and my hubby made me breakfast. Karli tried to give me a neck massage, but it was more like a tickle. Austin bought me a four pack of Red Bull. LOL...I guess he thought it was a 'health' drink. Dustin is at his state golf tournament, but he did text tell me and told me he loved me. :)

Watching all these girls enter figure competitons is really giving me the bug. Ever since I started working I have really put off my fitness goals/dreams. I need to reprioritize and get it together. I don't want another year to go by...time is really flying and I'm not getting any younger.

The Kansas Body for LIFE event is approaching FAST. I am so excited and the most exciting part is Tom joining me. WOOHOO!!!!

Tom has his mine resuce competition this weekend. I'm nervous for him, but I'm sure they will do great.

Hope all of you have a WONDERFUL week.

May Day ~ May Day!

Well, it's May and I LOVE IT!! My son turned 10 today and the sun is shining in Idaho.

I am on FIRE and I am LOVING my new program.

Our new puppy is doing so good. I LOVE her so much. Funny thing is I was the one totally against getting a new dog and now I am so attached.

Austin said he wanted one for his birthday and I know my eyes got huge when he said it. I was thinking how the heck am I going to take care of two puppies. LOL

The good news is he changed his mind (I think he sees how much work MoJo is) so I escaped the two puppy idea.

We have baseball this weekend and I'm SO EXCITED!!!! This will be Karli's first year. I'm not kidding she has legs like a baby colt..so it will be cute to see her run the bases.

Dustin has been doing awesome in golf.

Enough about ME. I'm off to read all about all of YOU!!

XOXO
